  61. Executes the shell script of the name defined in the file
  62. 'ShowDVI.config'. Setting now is '%s'.
  63. If the environment variable TEXFORMATS is not set, ShowDVI
  64. will ask for a format file. (If this function is called by pressing
  65. the 'R' key, the format file will be asked every time.) The
  66. shell script is called with three comand line options
  67. (.key filename/a,directory/a,screenname/k): the name of the
  68. currently loaded TeX file, its directory and the name of the
  69. public screen (%s) on which the IO window will
  70. be opened. This window can be closed by using the close-button
  71. or typing CTRL-\.

  77. Invoces an ARexx script of the name defined in the file
  78. 'ShowDVI.config'. Setting now is '%s'.
  79. This script drives the comunication between the editor,
  80. TeX and ShowDVI.
  81. First one will be asked for the name of a public screen.
  82. Using the default '%s' an window on ShowDVIs screen
  83. will come up. Entering 'Workbench' will
  84. open a window on the Workbench screen. The name of the
  85. screen will be passed to the ARexx script as comand line
  86. parameter.

  88. This facility requires OS 2.0.
  89. The ARexx-Script can also be invoced in a CLI window
  90. on the workbench using OS 1.3.

  92. Asks for a format-file name and assigns the
  93. environment variable TEXFORMATS to it.
  94. This variable is evaluated by the 'r'
  95. comand, the ARexx scripts as well

  100. Starts the program 'SpecialHost', that handles
  101. the \special TeX directive. Depending on the
  102. configuration of the program it will open
  103. a window on the ShowDVI screen or on the
  104. workbench.

  119. on the right handside of the titlebar. In that

  189. will display the distance form the current
  190. mouse position to the place where the
  191. button was pressed.

  296. 'page-jump-counter'. This is a 4digit number
  297. that can be entered with the numerical keys

  300. number it will be used for page switching.

  308. increment the pagenumber by 4.

  310. Using 'jump-to-PJC' will cause to jump to
  311. the entered mumber. Hence '4' '.' will
  312. display page 4.

  325. Usually ShowDVI uses 'logical' page numbers. These are the
  326. numbers that TeX printes on the pages. In some cases there
  327. may be textes that use the same (logical) pagenumber for
  328. different slices of paper. (ShowDVI will display the number
  329. of this logical page number after the gadget '#' that shows
  330. the logical number.)
  331. To properly handle those types of text ShowDVI can be told
  332. to use physical numbering. I.e. the first page in the DVI-file
  333. becomes page number 1 whatever pagenumber is printed on it.
  334. This mode will be marked by the character 'Y' on the right
  335. of the titelbar.

  337. This menu item toggles between the two numbering method supported
  338. by ShowDVI. In 'logical' numbering ShowDVI learns the pagenumbers
  339. that are set up in the DVI file, whereas in 'physical' numbering
  340. the pagenumbers are derived from the order of the pages in the
  341. DVI file. In 'physical' numbering it is assured that every
  342. pagenumber is uniq, but these numbers may differ from the numbers
  343. on the actual pages.

  347. configuration file.
